Learning has always been at the heart of how I make sense of the world. As a musician who writes and performs my own music, I know firsthand how transformative it is to develop a skill, find your voice, and connect with others through what you’ve learned. That belief is what drew me to instructional design, and it’s what still drives my work today. For over a decade, I’ve practiced instructional design and multimedia development across academic, healthcare, nonprofit, government, and adult education settings, working closely with a diverse range of subject matter experts to apply established ID frameworks, craft meaningful learning objectives, develop content, and align assessments that actually measure what matters.
I have extensive experience with eLearning authoring tools including Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline and Rise, along with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle. I also work deeply with multimedia production software including Camtasia and the Adobe Creative Suite. I believe that thoughtfully leveraging educational technology is essential in a rapidly changing world, because when learning works, people grow, and when people grow, they understand each other a little better.
