Animated Video
The purpose of this project was to show the benefit of incorporating Lean systems design, traditionally used in industrial settings, into healthcare processes. For this video I interviewed SMEs, drafted the script, recorded narration using Adobe Audition, and produced the animation using VideoScribe and Adobe Premiere. This was just one element of the program, but it did provide a visual conceptual map to begin the discussions.
Instructional Design Best Practices Module
I produced this module as a demonstration of selected instructional design best practices, course design, and technical applications of eLearning authoring tools.
Video Editing
Filmed in February of 2020 (prior to the COVID-19 pandemic) this video highlights PEIK’s community outreach efforts to foster interest in STEM education. The video segments were recorded using Apple and Samsung phones and edited in Adobe Premiere.
Andragogy
This eLearning module was created to give a brief introduction to Andragogical principles and provide contrast to Pedagogical principles. The module was created with Adobe Captivate.
Org Chart Animation
I created this org chart animation as an orientation piece for new staff members at a small nonprofit. The animation provides a clear overview of the organization’s hierarchical structure by utilzing highlights, zooms, and focus points. This short video is only one piece of a onboarding process designed to familizarize new staff members with the various departments, teams, and key personnel.
Virtual Reality Lesson Design
This virtual reality lesson was co-designed with students, teachers, and staff of an adult learning organization to incorporate an academic topic with skills from two career sectors. In this case the topic was math and the career sectors were construction and healthcare. I created the VR experience with the Engage VR platform.
